    A Window Between Worlds
    a non-profit organization dedicated to using art to help end domestic violence. For twelve years, AWBW has provided art expression as a healing tool for battered women and their children. Again and again, we have seen how a simple art session can help to change a woman or child’s life.

    CASA AMIGA centro de Crisis
    Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. The organization offers medical, legal and psychological aid to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in a city rocked by the murders and disappearances of at least 280 women and girls over the last 10 years.

    Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) Program

    Minneapolis WATCH
    WATCH is a volunteer- based court monitoring and research organization that follows cases of family and sexual violence and provides feedback to the justice system. Founded in Minneapolis in 1992, WATCH works to improve the justice system's response to cases of domestic abuse, child abuse and sexual assault. The mission of WATCH is to make the justice system more effective and responsive in handling cases of violence, particularly against women and children, and to create a more informed and involved public.

    My Sister's House: A Shelter for Battered Women
    is the first and only non-profit organization to specifically identify and address the unique needs of women and children impacted by domestic violence in the Central Valley's highly diverse Asian and Pacific Islander community.

    Narika
    (South Asia) Narika was founded in 1992 to address the problem of domestic violence in the South Asian community. Embracing the notion of women's empowerment, Narika set out to address the unmet needs of abused South Asian women by providing advocacy, support, information, and referrals within a culturally sensitive model.     National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV)

    National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs
    addresses the pervasive problem of violence committed against and within the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and HIV-affected communities.

    National Domestic Violence Hotline
    At the Hotline, a project of the Texas Council on Family Violence, they believe every caller deserves to be treated with dignity and respect and every family deserves to live in a world free from violence. Hotline advocates are available 24 hours, 365 days a year, for victims and anyone calling on their behalf to provide crisis intervention, safety planning, information and referrals to agencies in all 50 states.

    National Coalition Against Violent Athletes
    Our mission and purpose is to educate the public on a variety of issues regarding athletes and violent behavior, while also providing support to the victims, including but not limited to, advocacy, referrals, and research.

    National Rape Evidence Project (NREP)
    This project seeks to collect and distribute private funds to local law enforcement agencies to support expedited DNA testing for 20,000 to 40,000 rape evidence collection kits currently stored in police departments across the U.S and increase public awareness in order to prevent the backlog from recurring.

    National Training Center on Domestic and Sexual Violence
    Designs, provides, and customizes training and consultation; influences policy; promotes collaboration; and enhances diversity with the goal of ending domestic and sexual violence.

    New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children
    Is the oldest child protection agency in the world. It was created in 1875 to protect children from abuse and has been operating since that time to achieve its mission through direct service, education, advocacy and research. The NYSPCC is adding site supervisors and security to expand its hours of operation, as well as adding Asian-language interpreters to reach a broader section of battered women.

    Office of Violence Against Women (VAWO)--U.S Department of Justice
    Works closely with other components of OJP, the Office of Legal Policy, the Office of Legislative Affairs, the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, the Immigration and Naturalization Office, the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, and state, tribal and local jurisdictions to implement the mandates of the Violence Against Women Act and subsequent legislation.

    Progressive Women Association Pakistan

    Purple Berets
    A grassroots, in-your-face women's rights group dedicated to gaining equal justice for women. We work as advocates for women who are victims of sexual assault and domestic violence and we do direct action political organizing to make system-wide change to give women access to justice.

    RaisingHerVoice.org: Sexual Assault Survivors Speak Out
    provides a safe space for survivors of sexual assault to share their experiences with emergency contraception (EC or the "morning-after pill"). The website aims to raise awareness about the important role of EC during a time of crisis.

    Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network
    The nation's largest anti-sexual assault organization. RAINN operates a national rape hotline -- free, confidential, and accessible 24 hours a day.

    R.O.S.E. Fund
    The R.O.S.E. (Regaining One's Self-Esteem) Fund is a national non-profit organization committed to ending violence against women and their children by assisting women survivors of violence to regain their self-esteem. By helping women to achieve a positive self-esteem, The R.O.S.E.     Sakhi for South Asian Women
    A community-based organization in the New York metropolitan area committed to ending the exploitation and violence against women of South Asian origin*. Recognizing oppression based on class, immigration status, religion, and sexual orientation, we work to empower women, particularly survivors of domestic violence. Sakhi strives to create a voice and safe environment for all South Asian women through outreach, advocacy, leadership development, and organizing.
